If you watch the opera by knowing the story of opera, the times of the composer and work, and main point to ponder through a book or Internet, you will have more effective appreciation.

2 etiquette Arrive at 30 minutes early and enter 10 minutes early In general, you cannot enter the theater during the show time except intermission, and so it is courteous to arrive at the theater 30 minutes before the performance and enter at least 10 minutes before the performance. If you are belated, (though you cannot generally enter the theater except during the intermission) you may enter following the guide. You can have the nearest seat and then go find your own seat during the intermission.

3 etiquette No Admittance to Preschool Children For the convenience of audience during the performance, only the school children and people over that age will be accepted into the Opera House. Preschool children will not be admitted to the Opera House even if they bought tickets; so please check the age limit before reserving a ticket for a performance.

4 etiquette Taking pictures and using mobile phone are forbidden Unauthorized photograph shooting or recording inside the theater are strictly prohibited. Taking pictures with flashlight against this rule, it may cause orchestra members unable to see the musical score temporarily by the flash of light. Please make sure that the mobile phone and electronic alarm watch are switched off during the performance.

5 etiquette Food and drinks, and noise-inducing items are not allowed in Food (including beverage), bouquet, shopping bag, large or noise-inducing items should be kept in the coatroom at the lobby before admission.

6 etiquette Wheelchair Use For wheelchair users, there are wheelchair rows prepared in the auditorium on 1F, 2F, and 3F of the theater. Wheelchair users can park in the B1 space and take the elevator to the dressing room area on 1F and then use the wheelchair lift connected to the auditorium to move to the lobby.

7 etiquette Safety Accident & Robbery Alert For the safety of all audience, please go out through the exit, and ask the information desk for emergency medicine. Meanwhile, it is recommended to take your bag and handbag with you while leaving your seat just in case of robbery. Please inquire to the information desk for lost articles and found articles.

8 etiquette Non-smoking Building The entire Opera House building is non-smoking area. Please refrain from smoking and use the verandas located in the south of lobbies on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors for smoking which is designated smoking areas.
